A series of brass plaques with names engraved and gilded, located in the main meeting room in the Hunters Hill Council offices. Above the plaques, is an Australian flag flanked by the Navy and Air Force Ensigns.

Known establishment dates:

  • Second World War Honour Roll - 23 April 2004
  • Vietnam plaque - 25 April 2005

Plaque 1:

Lest We Forget.

From the original ANZACS and the men and women involved in wars and conflict, we are left with memories of their deeds, and sadness at the sacrificies that are made. Let us never forget what they did, why they did it and who they did it for.

The Battle of Beersheba, 90th Anniversary 2007 (Light Horse Brigade), WW I & II the Korean War, Malayan Emergency and Indonesian Confrontation, Vietnam War, Peacekeeping operations since 1947, conflicts, including the First & Second Gulf Wars and the War in Afghanistan.
