Description / Background

This memorial hall was originally located on the corner of Church and Joubert Streets, Hunters Hill. In 1962, the hall and adjoining church, were moved to the present site as part of the roadworks associated with the new, Gladesville Bridge.

The large rock outside the hall, to the west of the church, is part of the church's Anzac Day service. On the Sunday closest to Anzac Day, a wreath is placed on it.
