Muswellbrook Methodist Church First and Second World War Memorials Middle Image Image Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background Now known as Muswellbrook Uniting, the Church contains matching plain bronze honour rolls for the First and Second World Wars. These are attached to interior walls, either side of the reredos. A smaller brass plaque for Sergeant Alex A. Prowse sits below the Second World War roll to dedicate a stained glass window. Muswellbrook Uniting Church is in the main street on the Muswellbrook Heritage Walk. Inscription Roll 1 Honour Roll 1914-1918 [Names] * Killed Roll 2 Honour Roll 1939-1945 [Names] * Killed Plaque To the glory of God and in memory of Sergeant Alex A. Prowse, R.A.A.F. who gave his life in the service of his country. On 26th May, 1943. This window is presented to the church by Mr. & Mrs. W. C. Prowse & family.
