A granite boulder within the area bears the bronze dedication plaque. The location is registered with the Geographical Names Board of NSW. The establishment of the memorial was notifed in NSW Government Gazette No. 29 dated 21 March 2014 and a dedication ceremony held on 24 July 2014.
