Newton Boyd First World War Honour Roll Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background A simple, light-coloured timber honour roll with names in gilt. The names are protected behind a pane of glass. The roll was unveiled by the Governor of NSW, Sir Dudley de Chair on 18 September 1924. In the same ceremony, he also opened the local Memorial Hall and dedicated the Newton Boyd War Memorial. The hall is now demolished and the roll has been relocated to the Land of the Beardies History House Museum and Research Centre in Glen Innes.
