Petersham Railway Staff First World War Honour Board Middle Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background A little-known timber honour board with a list of 14 Petersham railway employees who served in the First World War. It has a timber split pediment, blue painted scrolls and gilt lettering. The board was unveiled by Mrs Gould, the Station Master's wife in 1916. It is mounted within a larger protective timber and glass case and currently hangs on the inside wall of the ticket office at Petersham Station. It lies within the heritage listing boundary of the Petersham Railway Station Group.
