Description / Background

A fine Honour Roll board, with 37 Existing Lines Head Office railways employees names who served in the First World War written on paper in ink, and mounted in a wooden picture frame behind a glass pane. It was decorated with a painted crown and Union Jack and Red Ensign flags above.

It was produced by Existing Lines staff, and after the closure of Transport House in 2000, it was placed in storage and eventually went to the Igloo store. It now forms part of the State Movable Collection managed by Transport Heritage NSW (THNSW).
