Plaque 2: To the glory of God and in loving memory of Wing Commander Richard Ashley Atkinson D.F.O., DF.C. (R.A.F.). Born Emmaville N.S.W. 1913 Lost over Eidsfiord, Norway 13th Dec. 1944 and Sergeant John Anthony Atkinson R.A.F. Born Emmaville N.S.W. 1919 Lost over Europe, objective Magdeburg. Jan. 21-22 1944. Only sons of John and Emily Atkinson. Clifton Gardens. Grandsons of A.A. Atkinson, Lindfield, N.S.W. 'Greater love hath no man than this'. Plaque 3: The bell was given to the glory of God and in the loving memory of Lieut Alan Russell Backet Died of wounds Aug.16.1916 France and of Corp Wilfred Dudley Lovegrove Light Horse A.I.F. killed in action Nov.6.1917 – Palestine. Plaque 4: To the glory of God and in memory of Lucy Anne Nelson died January 18th 1922 and of her son Trantham John Nelson. Killed in action 26th August 1918.
