St Andrew's Anglican Church Memorial Flag, Roseville Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The memorial flag is the Cross of St George - a red cross on a white background - which is set behind glass with a plain light-coloured wooden frame. Beside it on the church wall is a polished brass inscription plaque. A small dedicatory metal plate is also attached to the frame. Inscription Plaque 1 1940 - 1945 This flag was presented by the Parishioners to Rev. M. K. Jones Rector of this Parish on his appointment as Senior Chaplain 8th Division and was used by him in the Malayan Campaign and afterwards in the P.O.W.
