The board is attached to a side wall of St Andrew's Cathedral in Sydney. The central inscription is surrounded by an embossed laurel wreath. Inscription Outside the wreath Pro Deo - Pro Patria 1899–1902. Within the wreath Sacred to the memory of the Officers and Men of the New South Wales Contingents who gave their lives for Queen and Country South Africa.
