A memorial comprising four sandstone columns positioned on a lighter coloured sandstone plinth, supporting a roof. There is an honour roll and several plaques attached to the stone pillar in the centre of the monument. 

Notes on veteran names:

  • No records for a deceased veteran by the name of W H Dickson of this area can be found. Nor can the details of death for the veterans V J Budin and J D McLean be found. The status codes for these veterans have been left as Killed in action (KIA) as that is what is indicated by the memorial.
  • Status codes for all other deceased veterans have been taken from information on the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour and Commemorative Roll, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) database, Australian National Archives records and New Zealand Cenotaph records.

They, whom this memorial commemorates, were numbered amongst those who, at the call of King and Country, left all that was dear to them, faced danger and finally passed out of the sight of men by the path of duty and self sacrifice, giving up their own lives that others might live in freedom let those who come after see to it that their names be not forgotten
