A pressed copper roll of honor attached to a pillar positioned under a rotunda in Torrington Reserve. The roll contains 51 names on individual plaques, but does not list an end date for the First World War. At the top of the pillar are smaller pressed copper plates showing four theaters of conflict: France, Salonika, Palestine and Gallipoli. The memorial was built around 1919. To the side are two plaques, added later, that represent the men and women from Torrington and Stanum who answered the call for the Second World War.
In 2000, the Torrington War Memorial Park Trust laid a small remembrance path, containing the words 'Lest We Forget' in white gravel surrounded by grey granite slabs. Set into these slabs are individual plaques for locals who served their country and have passed away in the last years.
The Torrington War Memorial Park Trust looks after the War Memorial Park and recreation areas.
