Description / Background

Previously known as the Peace Memorial, this memorial is dedicated to technical education staff and students from TAFE institutions throughout NSW.

It is described as a metal fabricated sphere, symbolising the world, in a sandstone obelisk denoting peace. It sits on a sandstone base. The memorial is180cm tall and is positioned between two flagpoles.

The memorial is located between Building D and The Muse (Building C).

Sydney TAFE conducts commemorative services at this site for Anzac Day 25 April and Remembrance Day 11 November. Contact the Sydney TAFE Information Centre on 1300 360 601 prior to these dates.
