The plaque is inscribed with a dedication to people from the Albion Park district who served in the Second World War. The memorial was established by the Albion Park RSL sub-Branch as part of the Australia Remembers campaign, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the end of the war. Inscription Plaque Australia Remembers 1945–1995 This stone commemorates Victory in the Pacific by Allied Forces on August 15th, 1945.
