Alma Park War Memorial Pavers, Uralla Middle Image Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The memorial consists of a paved area, located on the northern side of the Alma Park War Memorial Gates, Uralla. The pavers are inscribed with the military service records of individual veterans and are representative of the many armed conflicts in which Australians, or more recent migrants to Australia, have served. The inscription on each paver varies; however, all include a name and brief service details, such as rank, unit or company or service. Some also refer to the particular conflict the veteran served in, or are for those who served with Australia's Allies. The pavers were purchased by local individuals or their families. Alma Park is the venue for various commemorative services including Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.
