This war memorial is a commemorative plaque, attached to a stone plinth. It is located in Gosford Memorial Park, which contains numerous war memorials. 

Inscription

British Commonwealth Occupation Force (B.C.O.F)  Australian Component

In remembrance of 45,000 Australian Service Men and Women who served in Japan 1945-1952 and those who did not come back. Lest we forget. 

Dedicated Tuesday 11 March 2008.
