Davistown RSL War Memorial Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This war memorial is a curved brick and concrete wall that has been painted grey. On its front face are several metal emblems, including the RSL emblem, Royal Australian Navy Crest, Australian Army Crest, Royal Australian Air Force Crest, and Women's Services Crest. There are also two plaques in the shape of eternal flame torches and a plaque bearing the dedication. A 'Lest We Forget' cross is positioned on top of the wall and two flagpoles stand in front of it. Commemorative services for Anzac Day, Vietnam Veterans Day and Remembrance Day are held on site. Inscription Lest We Forget - We that are left have erected this monument as a memorial to commemorate those who fought for a cause and gave their lives for it.
