Description / Background

The roll of honour is constructed of timber, with a classical pediment at the top. The servicemen listed on the roll were members of Lodge Rose No. 119 of the United Grand Lodge (U.G.L.) of NSW. Their names are painted in gold in the middle of the board. A decorative banner scroll within the pediment, also painted in gold, displays the name of the lodge.

The roll was unveiled in the Lodge Room of the Emmaville Masonic Lodge Hall. It has since moved to the military room of the Emmaville Mining Museum. Access to the memorial is by appointment/tour.

Lodge Rose No. 119 was formed in the mining town of Emmaville by October 1914, and was still in existence in November 1954.
