Greenethorpe District First World War Honor Roll Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This honour roll is located inside the Greenethorpe War Memorial Hall. It is made of Queensland Maple and lists the names of 57 veterans from the Greenethorpe district who served in the First World War. The names are printed in gold across three columns, with the first column beginning with a list of 10 veterans killed during the war. The roll was unveiled on 25 September 1929 by the Mayor of Grenfell, Alderman. Jas. Bradley. Mr John Fisher presided at the ceremony and outlined the number of names on the memorial (The Grenfell Record, 30 September 1929).
