The First World War roll was unveiled on 27 January 1919. It was reported in the Cowra Free Press on 1 February. The article said: The residents of the town and district rolled up in hundreds to witness the ceremony of unveiling the Honor Roll, on which are inscribed the names of 66 men from the town and district who volunteered for service with the A.I.F. The roll is of silky oak, and the lettering inscribed in gold. Mr. D. Evans prepared the roll, and the lettering was the work of Mr. T. Foley. All the material was supplied by Messrs Mannell and Healey. The Second World War roll was made by Herbert Fisher in the late 1940s, in a similar style to the the First World War roll. Both rolls were professionally restored by Art and Archival in early 2021 and reinstalled in their alcove on 23 April. The project was proudly supported by a Community War Memorials Fund grant from the NSW Government.
