Description / Background

A memorial garden, containing the Illabo First World War Memorial and Roll of Honor. There is also a decorative timber sign in remembrance of those who joined the Kangaroo March in 1915 to enlist in the First World War. At the base of the sign are two plaques. 

A water-cooled First World War machine gun was originally located in the garden, however it was stolen.
