Jindabyne Memorial Hall First and Second World Wars Roll of Honour Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background These two bronze honour rolls are located in the foyer of the Jindabyne Memorial Hall. They are inscribed with the names of men and women who served in the First and Second World Wars. According to The Canberra Times issue of 11 May 1965, the roll on the left-hand side was unveiled during a ball on site on 8 May 1965. However, a small plaque attached to the wall below the roll gives the date as 1964. The roll on the right-hand side was installed in 2008 by the Snowy River RSL sub-Branch. This updated version includes two additional veterans in the Second World War list, as well as a key to the symbols used on the original roll, indicating those who were killed in action or died of illness.
