Lyndhurst and District Second World War Memorial Gates Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background These memorial gates consist of two brick pillars, each inset with a marble tablet. The tablets are inscribed with a dedication and the names of two veterans from Lyndhurst or district who served in the Second World War. A pair of decorative metal gates is suspended from the pillars. The gates are located outside the Lyndhurst Memorial Hall and were erected around March 1954.
