Description / Background

Constructed of brick and translucent yellow glass panels, this war memorial is a large, free-standing wall, inset with stained glass windows. It commemorates those who served in the First and Second World Wars, Korea, Malaya, and Vietnam. It is situated at the front entrance to the Moree Services Club.

The Moree RSL sub-Branch received a Department of Veterans' Affairs Grant in September 2011 to restore the memorial.
