Description / Background

This war memorial was originally erected by Tramway Staff in the forecourt of North Sydney Tram Depot, Military Road, Neutral Bay. It was originally dedicated on 3 November 1918. It was relocated to Anzac Park in Cammeray and re-dedicated in 1985. 

The memorial includes an honour roll for the First and Second World Wars.

In memory of our fellow comrades who laid down their lives for liberty and justice in the Great War of 1914-1919

Erected by the North Sydney Tramway Staff unveiled 3rd November 1918
