Piallaway District First and Second World War Memorial Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The war memorial is a small stone obelisk mounted on a concrete pad, surrounded by a wire fence. The whole is located adjacent to the Piallaway Community Hall. The memorial features honour roll plaques for local enlistments from the First and Second World Wars. The local committee received a 'Saluting Their Service' grant to establish the memorial in its present position. It was dedicated on 1 October 2015.
