It has a curved pediment at the top and carved timber columns on each side of the board. The roll lists the names of 54 members of the St Paul's Church of England parishes in Wollongbar and McLeans Ridges who served in the wars. Their names are neatly printed in gold down two columns. The board was made by Mr John Rishworth, using Australian cedar. The lettering was completed by Mr Ted Nerney. It was unveiled at the church at Wollongbar on Anzac Day, 25 April 1952. Details of the event were published in the Northern Star on 2 May. The service was conducted by the Rector of Alstonville, Reverend E. Williams. Mrs Costello Senior, the oldest member of the church, unveiled the roll and it was dedicated by Reverend J. V. J. Robinson, Rector of Lismore, and a former Rector of Alstonville. The roll was moved to the McLeans Ridge Public Hall in April 2022, following the closure of the church. It is available for viewing when the hall is open on public occasions.
