State Parliament of New South Wales First World War Roll of Honour Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This decorative honour roll is located inside the Parliament of NSW building in the Sydney CBD. It is a hand-painted piece, made by the Government Printers Office. It features an illustration of a columned archway, topped with a laurel wreath and flags. Between the columns is a scroll with the list of names of those members of parliament and staff who served in the First World War. The memorial was unveiled on 27 February 1918 by the President of the Legislative Council, Mr Fred. Flowers, and Speaker, John Cohen. It was intended to be temporary but a replacement was not created.
