A State Funeral Service for the late Mr Godfrey Eugene “Rusty” Priest AM will be held at St Mary’s Cathedral, Sydney at 11.00 am on Wednesday 2 October 2013. The Service will commemorate Mr Priest’s life and his remarkable contribution to New South Wales through his tireless work as President of the Returned Services League (New South Wales Branch). His lasting and most significant contribution to the commemoration of Australia’s military history is the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway adjacent to Concord Hospital.
Rusty was a driving force behind the establishment and ongoing support of this website.
