The insignias of the Royal Australian Navy, Australian Military Forces, Royal Australian Air Force and a plain red cross are engraved on the sides of the column. There are also three plaques on the memorial. Inscription Plaque 1: Lest we forget. Plaque 2: This memorial is dedicated to members of the Allied Forces who served in all wars and conflicts.
