Pedestrian mall with clock tower memorial, complete with dedicatory plaques and remembrance gardens. A flagpole with sandstone wall and plaque is situated at the other end of the mall. Various plaques and some fine mosaic work feature throughout the precinct.

The clock tower was constructured and dedicated before the mall. The mall was opened on 17 June 1995.

Separate plaques on the clock tower are for some of the post-Second World War conflicts to which Australia has sent armed forces.

Clock tower

This Memorial honours those who served in the Armed Forces during World Wars 1914-1918 1939-1945. Erected by the Women of the Strong Post & remodelled by public subscription 1951. The foundation stone was laid by Stanley E. Parry, Mayor 28th May 1932. Mayor Ald. H. R. Thorncroft, Town Clerk S. H. Lofts.

Canterbury City Council

This plaque commemorates the official opening of Anzac Mall. A project funded by the Commonwealth Government under the Local Government Works Program. Unveiled by his Worship the Mayor of the City of Canterbury Clr. John Gorrie on 17th June 1995. [List of Councillors by Ward].

This commemorative pathway and extended rose garden was constructed by Canterbury City Council to honour all Australian service personnel on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Remembrance Day and was dedicated by the Mayor of the City of Canterbury, Cr. Kayee Griffin on 8 November 1998. Kayee Griffin Mayor, Jim Montague General Manager.
