Description / Background

A small war memorial commemorating the First World War, Second World War and the Korean War is located in a garden setting on the west side of the Power House (Building 2) within the Boiler Shop Precinct. It features a marble monument set within an angled brick wall with bronze military insignia attached to the wall and a flagpole.

This garden is part of a larger area of plantings, which form the setting for the Boilershop (Building 1) and Power House. It commemorates Chullora Workshops railways employees who served in First World War, Second World War and Korea and was unveiled in 1964. It lies within the heritage listing boundary of the Chullora Railway Yard.
