Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall Passchendaele Room Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Passchendaele Room is located within the Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall. It is a commemorative function room where meetings, trade displays, and exhibitions can be held. It was refurbished to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the construction of the hall. Opened by the Governor of New South Wales on 13 August 1994, the room was named in honour of those Tamworth citizens who served on the Western Front during the First World War. The room contains a dedication plaque and mounted photographs of the construction of the hall. Inscription [Tamworth crest] The Passchendaele Room was opened by His Excellency Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair AC Governor of New South Wales on 13 August 1994 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the construction of the Tamworth War Memorial Town Hall.
