Glen Innes Cemetery Memorial Wall Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background A curved brick wall located in the south-western corner of the cemetery with the words 'To Those Who Served' attached. There are also numerous small metal plaques attached inscribed with the name of the deceased and their service branch, for example Army, Navy, Royal Australian Air Force, Voluntary Aid Detachment or overseas service. Plans for the memorial wall were published in the Glen Innes Examiner on 6 September 1971 and the unveiling was reported on 26 April 1972. In front of the wall is a plinth with a metal wreath attached with the words 'Lest We Forget'. At the southern end of the wall is a list of Past Presidents of the R.S.L. and at the northern end is a list of Past Secretaries and Treasurers.
