Description / Background

The Harrington Public School Memorial Area is a small paved space, located within the grounds of the school. It is bordered on two sides by low walls, pot plants and garden beds. There are two plaques attached to the walls, identifying the area as a war memorial. 

The memorial was officially opened on 12 November 2018, for the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
