Description / Background

This war memorial is a nave that was built in honour of those Australians from the Parish of St Andrews Church of England in Coolah who served in First World War. The brick and sandstone nave was built alongside the church, which had been constructed in 1882. The nave features a Gothic-shaped doorway, metal gates, small side windows and a galvanised roof. On the peak of the roof there is a spire topped with a Latin cross, and inside the nave there are religious statues.
