Patricia Neal discusses the World War 1 service of her relative George Percy Wallace who was killed in action and is buried in Belgium.
She also talks about her great uncle Gundi who served in World War 2 in Darwin. Gundi was treated poorly after his service, and as a result did not engage with Anzac Day.
Patricia also discusses her research into family history and Aboriginal service more broadly, particularly in relation to her work in teaching school children.
