Born in NZ, enlisted in April 1915, a packer. Wounded accidentally while serving at Gallipoli (gun shot wound to hand). A court of enquiry ruled the wound was not self inflicted. Subsequently court martialled whilst in France for conduct not conducive to good order. Recieved 30 days. In France from March 1916 to end of 1918 (apart from spells of illness inc influenza). Last known address: 30 Darling Street
