Enlisted for the first time in December 1914 but medically discharged in February 1915 (before reached UK). Reenlisted in May 1916 and went overseas in October. Hospitalised on and off through February - April 1917 (syphillis). Went to the front in August 1917 and killed at 'Hell Fire Corner' a few weeks later (first wounded in the arm and then hit again with multiple pieces of shrapnel and killed). Aged 25. Last known address: 7 Little's Avenue (now Brett Avenue)
