Inscription Window ALBURY'S OWN TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND TO HONOUR THE MEN OF THE 2/23RD AUST. INF. BATTALION WHO SERVED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR 1939 ~ 1945. Plaque THIS MEMORIAL WINDOW WAS DEDICATED BY THE VENERABLE JOHN DAVIS, ARCHDEACON OF ALBURY, ON 22ND SEPTEMBER, 1994. IT REPLACES THE REGIMENTAL COLOUR PRESENTED TO THE 2/23RD INFANTRY BATTALION BY THE CITY OF ALBURY IN 1940, PRIOR TO THE BATTALION'S DEPARTURE FOR ACTIVE SERVICE OVERSEAS.
