Description / Background

A bronze honour roll plaque mounted on a large, rough-hewn granite bushrock set on a single step. Behind the rock is a curved brick wall with plaques for individual service personnel attached. The memorial is located in a small park at the top of Railway Street.

Note on veterans' names: Status codes for all other deceased veterans are taken from information in the Australian War Memorial Roll of Honour, Australian Military Forces Prisoners of War and Missing in the Far East and South West Pacific Islands and the World War Two Nominal Roll. The memorial lists all deceased veterans as killed in action (KIA).
