Description / Background

Jungiong Memorial Park was constructed in the 1950s in honour of those who served in the Second World War. At the entrance, are memorial gates made of steel with concrete posts. The gates are dedicated to two soldiers who fell during the war. The gates were constructed in 1952 and opened on 15 May 1954. There is also a metal flagpole located on the east side of the gates.
