Narrandera First World War Memorial Avenue and Cairn Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background A memorial avenue of trees planted near Narrandera Memorial Gardens in honour of those who fell in the First World War. A sandstone cairn with dedication plaque was unveiled on 25 April 1929. The cairn is located at the rear end of the gardens, in a garden bed. Inscription "Lest We Forget" This memorial avenue is dedicated to our glorious dead whose names are inscribed on the monument This cairn was unveiled by the Narrandera & district repatriation executive.
