The gardens contain several monuments, erected at different times, to commemorate the sacrifices made in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. These monuments are largely placed in chronological order. A marker consisting of four large rectangular rocks bearing an inscription and a Latin cross stands at the entrance facing East Street. A tablet recording the opening is located at the base of the Narrandera South African Campaign Memorial Obelisk.
