Bundeena and Maianbar War Memorial Middle Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Bundeena and Maianbar War Memorial is a granite block, with a dedication plaque and honour roll of those who served in the First World War. It stands on a bed of crushed gravel and is flanked by two flagpoles. In 1997, funds were provided through the Commonwealth 'Your Service Our Heritage' scheme to establish the memorial. It was unveiled the following year on 29 March. The honour roll was added in 2018. The monument is located in the park behind the Bundeena Community and Services Club. Commemorative services are held on site. Inscription Plaque 1 Dedicated by the people of Bundeena and Maianbar in memory of those who served. Unveiled by His Excellency, The Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of New South Wales 29th March 1998.
