Description / Background

The memorial is a large printed honour roll containing the names of 234 service personnel from Dorrigo and surrounding district who enlisted in the Second World War. The list also includes the names of seven Dorrigo men who enlisted elsewhere in Australia and were killed in action.

The honour roll was created by the Dorrigo RSL sub-Branch as part of the Australian Federal Government's commemorative program "Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" marking the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
