Kellyville First World War Roll of Honour Middle Image Image Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background In November 1919, Richard Orchard, the then Federal Member for Nepean, unveiled the Kellyville Roll of Honour. It listed 32 soldiers, four of whom were killed in action in the First World War. It was attached to a wall at the Kellyville Public School, facing Windsor Road. Since 1919, the board has been mounted in various locations around Kellyville: 1919 – Kellyville Public School 1924 – Kellyville Memorial Hall 1990 – Kellyville Recreation Centre, Kellyville Park In 2018, it was returned to its original location, and attached to the heritage listed school building. On 15 November 2018, it was unveiled by the Hon. Dr Brendan Nelson AO, Director of the Australian War Memorial, and rededicated by Chaplain Nalbandian, Royal Australian Air Force, Richmond. It is approximately 6 feet (1.8m) tall and 3 feet (920mm) wide. Originally framed in oak, the maple board is now covered in glass. Also on site are the Kellyville First World War Honour Roll and the Kellyville Public School Place of Remembrance.
