Lismore Naval Association Departed Shipmates Monument Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The war memorial is a ship's anchor mounted on a concrete pad, located in the Lismore Commemorative Park. A metal plaque contains a dedication in remembrance of departed shipmates and includes the emblem of the Royal Australian Navy. The memorial was established in 1990. The Lismore City Sub Section is called Lismore-Casino-NII. The Naval Association was established in 1920 as the Ex-Navalmen's Association and in 1960 changed its name to the Naval Association of Australia.
