Sofala First World War Soldiers' Walkway Middle Image Image Image Image Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This war memorial walkway was dedicated in 2018 and is located at the eastern end of Denison Street in Sofala. It is comprised of an initial dedication plaque followed by eight plaques, each dedicated to an individual soldier who was born in Sofala and died on service during the First World War. The stainless steel plaques are mounted on top of individual sandstone plinths that line the walkway.
