St Andrew's Memorial Hall, Auburn Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The St Andrew's Memorial Hall was added to the rear of the Auburn Presbyterian Church in 1960, and was opened by the Moderator, the Rt Rev C J Vernon McKeown on 13 February 1960. The church received government funding for the hall, by declaring it a war memorial. The dedication board is made of polished timber and features a simple pediment and a raised boarder. The lettering is painted in gold, with a drop shadow effect on the name of the hall. The Memorial Hall may be accessed by contacting the Auburn Presbyterian Church. Vernon McKeown M.A. and dedicated to the Glory of God In memory of the pioneers who founded the Presbyterian cause in Auburn in 1904; and those who served in the forces in the World Wars, to make freedom to worship, our inalienable right.
